Through its <a href=\"https:\/\/physics.uoi.gr\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Dept. of Physics<\/a> (Section IV: Solid State Physics and Physics of Materials and Surfaces), Host Institution has established a robust nanotechnology research portfolio encompassing materials chemistry, nano-engineered materials, functional nanocomposites, nano-enabled devices and scalable fabrication approaches for 2D printed electronics, polymer processing and 3D printing. The collaborative labs research spans four key areas: i) Materials science and engineering, where performing pioneer work in multifunctional composite materials, including energy harvesting, energy storage, self-sensing and electrothermal properties, electromagnetic wave-matter interaction; ii) CAD\/CAM\/CAE systems and reverse engineering, where applying advanced design and analysis methods; iii) Additive Manufacturing, where focusing on 2D\/3D printing techniques and fibre-reinforced polymer (FRP) composites; iv) Characterization stations at materials and electronic devices level.
